Garry Thompson's sixth goal of the season gave Morecambe a 1-0 victory at Barnet to boost their play-off hopes.
Thompson pounced in the 62nd minute after Barnet keeper Lee Harrison had pushed out his initial shot following a Morecambe corner.
Albert Adomah almost made a dream start to his home debut for Barnet but fired hopelessly wide after five minutes.
