Nicolau grabbed the late winner for Barnet with five minutes remaining

Hereford's promotion push took a knock after Barnet's win made it three successive defeats for the hosts.

Barnet began well, but they did not break the deadlock until 52 minutes, when Albert Adomah beat keeper Wayne Brown with a low shot from six yards.

The home side hit back to level in the 63rd minute when Benjamin headed home a corner from Kris Taylor.

But with five minutes remaining former Hereford midfielder Nicky Nicolau smashed in the winner with a low shot.
