Roberts got the goal to give Wrexham a vital win
|
Bottom side Wrexham stunned leaders MK Dons at the Racecourse to end a run of seven straight league defeats.
Neil Roberts broke the deadlock after 71 minutes of a tight encounter with a clever 20-yard strike to give the new-look Dragons hope of survival.
He pounced after keeper Willy Gueret could only punch a corner clear, giving himself time to lift the ball over everyone and into an empty net.
MK Dons piled on the pressure but could not find an equaliser.
