Barnet and Rochdale shared a point each in an uninspiring draw.
The home side started brightly and Neal Bishop blazed over after linking up well with Anthony Thomas.
Dale's best chance fell to Chris Dagnall who drilled his shot straight at keeper Lee Harrison, who was making his 300th appearance for the club.
Dagnall had a header cleared off the line and then had an appeal for a penalty turned down before Barnet's Jason Puncheon hit the post.
