Lincoln clinched a spot in the League Two play-offs for the fifth season running with victory over Chester.
Chester were awarded a penalty when Chris Holroyd was fouled by Scott Kerr but Holroyd saw his spot-kick saved.
Jamie Forrester released Mark Stallard for a tap-in to give Lincoln the lead and Chester nearly equalised but Simon Yeo's goal was ruled offside.
Forrester sealed the win for Lincoln when he scored from the spot after Kevin Sandwith handled.
