Chester 3-2 Notts County
Chester eased their relegation worries in League Two thanks to a Michael Branch brace at home to Notts County.

Glynn Hurst put the Magpies ahead after Mark Stallard had headed goalwards, but the hosts levelled when Stuart Drummond capitalised on David Pipe's mistake.

Chester's pressure paid off when Ben Davies' neat pass set up Branch to side-foot past keeper Robert Elliot.

Branch took another Davies pass to slot past Elliott before Ruben Zadkovich got a consolation for the visitors.
