Kevin Gall was the star as Yeovil made a successful start to life as a Football league club, easing to victory at Rochdale.
Two goals from Gall and another from Lee Johnson gave the visitors the win atfer Paul Connor had equalised the home side.
Yeovil took the lead after 25 minutes when Gall fired home from outside the penalty area.
But Rochdale struck back in first-half injury-time when Connor fired home from a similar distance.
Johnson restored Yeovil's advantage in the 54th minute with a low drive after Kirk Jackson was fouled by Daryl Burgess on the edge of the area.
Shuker had a couple of chances to equalise again only to be denied, before the visitors gave themselves a two-goal cushion when Gall scored his second of the game from close range.
