Cambridge 0-2 Kidderminster

Cambridge United's hopes of forcing their way back into play-off contention suffered another setback, after Kidderminster left the Abbey Stadium with a win.

Dave Kitson and Omer Riza were unable to get a clear sight of goal all afternoon as the visitors controlled the game.

Harriers then stepped up their game after the break to clinch victory with two goals in six minutes.

A poor clearance by Cambridge goalkeeper Shaun Marshall fell to Andy Bishop and his shot was deflected to John Melligan, who sent a looping header under the crossbar (66).

Wes Morgan then easily out-jumped the Cambridge defence at the far post to ram home a header with 17 minutes remaining to secure the points for Kidderminster.
