Oxford strengthened their challenge for a place in the play-offs with a win
at home to Boston.
Oxford took control from the outset and Andy Crosby headed them in front from
a Bobby Ford free-kick in the 16th minute.
Ford then doubled the lead with a close-range header nine minutes into the
second half before the hosts gifted Boston a goal in the 69th minute to give the
visitors hope.
Crosby completely missed a long clearance from Boston goalkeeper Paul Bastock
to allow Stuart Douglas the easiest of goals.
The visitors should have equalised but Simon Weatherstone fired wide from 10
yards.
