Kidderminster 1-3 Scunthorpe

A Peter Beagrie double boosted Scunthorpe's promotion hopes as they clinched a win over Kidderminster Harriers.

Two goals in a minute just after the half-hour mark sent the visitors on their way.

Beagrie collected a pass from Wayne Graves and cut inside before unleashing a 25-yard shot which took a deflection off Harriers defender Wes Morgan and went in off a post.

A minute later, Paul Hayes found Matt Sparrow in space and although Sparrow's shot was saved by Fraser Digby, Martin Carruthers tapped in the rebound.

Bo Henriksen scored four minutes into the second half to give the home side hope but Beagrie made it three from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute after Danny Williams had tripped Andy Parton.

Scunthorpe: Evans, Stanton, Jackson, Lee Ridley, Sparrow, Graves, Kilford, Beagrie, Dawson, Carruthers, Hayes. Subs: Taylor, Parton, Cotterill, Butler, Capp.
