Carlisle 1-5 Hull

Jon Walters marked his debut with two goals as Hull upset the form book with a crushing win at Carlisle.

The on-loan Bolton marksman set Peter Taylor's men on the way to their first win in eight with a curling 20-yard strike in the 20th minute.

And Stuart Elliott converted Richie Appleby's cross to double the lead after 39 minutes.

Hull added a third just before half-time when Walters cleverly turned Paul Raven just inside the Carlisle half and sent Jamie Forrester racing away to score.

Elliott tapped in his second three minutes into the second half after Forrester's shot was palmed out by Matthew Glennon.

And Walters (67) broke from his own half to score again, before Craig Farrell snatched an injury-time consolation with a free-kick.
