Bournemouth 3-0 Swansea

Garreth O'Connor came off the bench to score two late penalties as Bournemouth continued their winning form with a 3-0 victory over Swansea.

The result sealed Bournemouth's third win in four games and moved them back into an automatic promotion place.

The home side had taken a first-half lead when James Hayter's seventh goal of the season found the target on the stroke of half-time.

Warren Cummings swept a right-wing cross to the feet of Hayter, who managed to scramble the ball past goalkeeper Roger Freestone.

The Swans had looked set to score 20 minutes earlier when James Howard unleashed a powerful drive, but it bounced off the woodwork.

And that was as close as they came throughout the night.

After the break their hosts continued to dominate and O'Connor's arrival had the required boost.

The Irishman hit home his fifth goal of the season in the 88th minute when Marcus Browning had been brought down by Freestone in the box.

He made no mistake with his penalty and added a second deep into injury time.
