Alexander revels in win
Keith Alexander was delighted with Lincoln after they stunned Hull 1-0 at the Kingston Comunications Stadium.

"They are the big team in the division with a high-profile manager," said Alexander.

"But I keep saying to the players that if they work hard we'll get something from games. We did that and we were well worth the three points.

I didn't fancy Lincoln to score as we were quite solid

Hull manager Peter Taylor

"We worked our socks off and, after a difficult game in midweek, it was pleasing to come away with a win."

Hull manager Peter Taylor said he could not criticise his team after the loss.

"The players did everything they could possibly do. As a manager that's all I can expect," said Taylor.

"In the first half if we'd scored a goal or two they would have been deserved.

"I didn't fancy Lincoln to score as we were quite solid.

"The lads were down after the game but I was happier knowing we worked as hard as we did."
