Rochdale twice came from a goal down to win a nine-goal thriller at home to struggling York.

The Minstermen took the lead against the run of play when captain Chris Brass headed home on 12 minutes.

Rochdale equalised three minutes later through a Kevin Townson penalty.

But the home side found themselves 2-1 down when Peter Duffield stabbed the ball past Steve Banks.

Townson equalised on the stroke of half time with his second.

John Hollins' men took the lead for the first time in the match when Lee McEvilly scored three minutes into the second half but Lee Bullock equalised within minutes.

Jobson made it 4-3 before establishing a two-goal cushion with a thumping header.

Michael Proctor scored a late goal for York but Rochdale held on.
