Accrington Stanley cruised to within three points of the League Two play-off zone as they destroyed struggling Hereford United at the Crown Ground.
Terry Gornell fired his side ahead from close range before Jimmy Ryan and Sean McConville struck twice in quick succession to earn a 3-0 interval lead.
Gornell then added his second, again from close range.
Hereford's second four-goal walloping in three away matches leaves them nine points clear of trouble.
Two-goal Gornell had ironically been a doubt for promotion-chasing Stanley after having six stitches in a knee wound.
But he was fit enough to take his season's tally to 12 goals, flicking home his first when he got on the end of Ian Craney's shot.
The Bulls, who gave a debut to 33-year-old loan striker Jason Price, enjoyed their only effort of the half seven minutes before the break when James McQuilkin's came back off the crossbar.
But, by half-time, it was all over a contest.
Stanley deservedly doubled their tally two minutes before the break when McConville's corner was dummied by Phil Edwards and came out to the edge of the area, where Ryan rifled home his first goal in three months.
And, in first-half injury time, it was three courtesy of a spectacular goal from midfielder McConville, who controlled neatly before hooking his volley into the top corner.
Gornell completed the scoring 11 minutes into the second half when he caught keeper Adam Bartlett loitering on the ball, nipping in to almost walk the ball into the empty net.
John Coleman's Stanley, who have lost just once in 11 matches, have now enjoyed six straight home wins.
