Millwall 5-0 Oxford
Millwall strike duo Neil Harris and Sam Parkin ripped Oxford apart with a devastating display as the Lions cruised to victory.

Harris scored a hat-trick and Parkin netted the other two as Millwall's eager youngsters nailed Oxford firmly to the foot of the table.

Caretaker manager Ray Harford could not have planned a better week following the mid-week Worthington Cup victory over Ipswich.

Oxford were struggling as soon as the second minute when Parkin exchanged passes with livewire Harris to score the first.

Harris punished poor defending with two goals of his own before the break, before turning defender Lee Jarman inside out to complete his hat-trick on the hour.

The Millwall starlet left to a standing ovation when he was substituted with 15 minutes to go. By then, Parkin had completed the rout with a fifth goal.

Millwall: Warner, Lawrence, Dolan, Nethercott, Ryan, Ifill, Cahill, Livermore, Kinet, Harris, Parkin.
Subs: Smith, Odunsi, Dyche, Reid, Braniff.

Oxford United: Knight, Robertson, Richardson, McGuckin, McGowan, Beauchamp, Tait, Lilley, Murphy, Anthrobus, Omoyimni.
Subs: Glass, Fear, Jarman, Cook, Mike.

Referee: M Fletcher (Warley).
