Holland facing lay-off
Paul Holland
Bristol City's Paul Holland faces an injury lay-off
Bristol City midfielder Paul Holland is likely to be out for several weeks with a knee injury sustained during the 0-0 draw at Oldham.

Holland twisted his knee awkwardly shortly before half-time in the match at Boundary Park on Saturday.

An early diagnosis of the problem appears to indicate it is likely that Holland has medial and cartilage damage.

The news comes at a bad time for Robins boss Danny Wilson, as his side struggle at the bottom end of Division Two with only four points from their opening six matches.

Wilson said: "It's a blow. Paul was performing consistently. It's typical of the way things have been going for us."

This is the second major injury blow that Bristol City has suffered recently, following striker Lee Peacock's surgery on a blood clot on his calf.
