Oldham scored two stunning goals to see off MK Dons and earn their third consecutive league win.

Full-back Alan Sheehan made the breakthrough after eight minutes when he fired an unstoppable drive from long-range into the bottom corner.

A flowing move from Oldham ended with Danny Whitaker setting up Keigan Parker to curl home a delightful finish.

The visitors pulled one back when Richie Partridge's cross hit the post and cannoned in off keeper Dean Brill.

"Angry, disappointed, that's the feelings not just from me, but from all of the staff.

"Sometimes in football you can never really comprehend what happens in a game. You can't begin to understand how disappointed the staff and the players are."
