Billy Paynter missed a second-half penalty then scored one minutes later to earn Swindon a draw at Walsall.

The home side went in front early on when Sean Morrison's slip let in Troy Deeney who finished well from 10 yards.

Darryl Westlake fouled Paynter in the box on 75 minutes, but the striker's spot-kick bounced off the post.

However, five minutes later the veteran made amends when Mark Hughes was penalised for handball and he buried his second opportunity from the spot.

Swindon manager Danny Wilson told BBC Wiltshire:

"How lucky were we at half time? We could easily have gone in 4-0 down and we never got out of the blocks in the first 45 minutes.

"It was a complete shambles and we were very, very, very fortunate to come away 1-0 down.

"The second half was a complete reversal and we could have had two, three or four ourselves."
