Second-half goals from Jason Puncheon and Peter Leven's penalty earned MK Dons victory after Norwich had taken a first-minute lead through Chris Martin.

Martin struck after just 17 seconds, finding the bottom right hand corner of the net from just outside the box.

But the hosts levelled in fine style through Puncheon who curled a 20-yard free-kick into the top corner.

Substitute Leven secured the win from the penalty spot after Martin was adjudged to have fouled Lewis Gobern.

Norwich manager Paul Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk:

"The referee actually made the sign with his hands that Chris Martin had played the ball.

"In my view the linesman's there to assist, not make major decisions. If it is a major decision then the referee should call it.

"I was delighted with the effort, absolutely brilliant. We had three 17-year-olds in there and the lads' desire is all you can ask for."
