Ian Thomas-Moore scored at the start and finish of the game to give Tranmere a victory over Gillingham which was closer than the scoreline suggests.

His early header was cancelled out when Curtis Weston beat home keeper Luke Daniels from 20 yards before John Welsh volleyed the home side back in front.

Andy Barcham netted the Gills' second before Rovers substitute Terry Gornell scored shortly after coming on.

Thomas-Moore's easy injury-time header wrapped up the home side's victory.
