Crewe 1-1 Bristol Rovers

Darryl Duffy's goal cancelled out Dennis Lawrence's effort as Bristol Rovers stretched their unbeaten run to six games.

Rovers' Jeff Hughes hit the crossbar in the early minutes and Crewe's Joel Grant had a first-half goal disallowed.

Crewe took the lead on 70 minutes when Lawrence had an easy tap-in after Clayton Donaldson's header hit the bar.

But, four minutes later, Duffy rescued Rovers a point, scoring from a rebound after Jo Kuffour had hit the post.

Rovers head coach Paul Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol:

"It was a difficult game. The opposition and the pitch made it quite tough but the spirit was excellent and we produced some good play in the end.

"Jo is exceptional when we pin teams back. He can produce a bit of magic. He was thwarted by a remarkable save by the keeper and his contribution was excellent.

"There's 10 points now between us and the play-offs.

"It's not insurmountable by any means but it's going to be a big ask of us."
