A string of missed chances cost in-form Bristol Rovers the opportunity to make it three straight away wins as they had to settle for a draw at Carlisle.
The home side started well and took the lead in spectacular style as Graham Kavanagh smashed home from 30 yards.
Rovers drew level in the 13th minute when Ryan Green played in Jeff Hughes who lashed home from 10 yards.
Home keeper Ben Williams made stunning saves to deny Hughes and Darryl Duffy and earn the Cumbrians a point.
