Bottom-of-the-table Hereford battled hard to gain their first away point of the season and leave Brighton still without a home league win this term.

Glenn Murray carved out the hosts' best chances but had efforts well saved by Darren Randolph in either half.

Brighton had a strong penalty appeal waved away late on when Joe Anyinsah tumbled over.

Hereford's Kris Taylor saw a free-kick tipped over the bar before Karl Broadhurst headed over late on.
