Southend recorded their third straight League One win after a comfortable victory against Leyton Orient.
The hosts took 47 seconds to take the lead, when Lee Barnard converted from six yards after Kevin Betsy's cross.
The Shrimpers doubled their advantage in the 12th minute when Dougie Freedman headed to Lee Sawyer, who lashed the ball past Glenn Morris from close in.
And Southend grabbed a third when Hal Robson-Kanu's left-sided cross was slotted home by Freedman.
