Oldham 2-0 MK Dons

Lee Hughes ensured Oldham's impressive start to the season continued with victory over MK Dons to increase their advantage at the top of League One.

The hosts dominated the opening stages of the game and were rewarded for their pressure when Hughes drove home from 18 yards from Andy Liddell's pass.

MK Dons should have levelled after Sean Gregan handled in the box, but Mark Wright's penalty was brilliantly saved.

And Mark Allott made the points safe in injury time with a fierce 25-yarder.
