Millwall 3-0 Carlisle

Out-of-favour striker Neil Harris fired Millwall to safety as the Lions sent 10-man Carlisle's automatic promotion hopes crashing with a resounding win.

Harris fired Millwall ahead in 43 minutes after a neat combination with Arsenal loanee Jay Simpson.

Carlisle rallied but the Lions netted from the spot in 55 minutes through Harris, after Blues' Danny Livesey was sent off for hauling down the frontman.

Tony Craig finished matters after 64 minutes with a simple finish.


Millwall: Evans, Senda, Robinson, Craig, Frampton (Bignot 50), Simpson, Laird, Karacan, Brkovic, Savage, Harris. Subs Not Used: Edwards, Martin, Fuseini, Smith.

Goals: Simpson 43, Harris 56 pen, Craig 64.
