Nicky Maynard's hat-trick fired Crewe to within touching distance of safety, beating Cheltenham 3-1.
Maynard opened the scoring curling the ball past Shane Higgs into the top corner from Kenny Lunt's cross.
Steven Gillespie levelled matters in the 66th minute lobbing the ball over Ben Williams and into the net.
Two minutes later Maynard sidefooted home from eight yards and he got the final touch to Julien Baudet's header to claim his hat-trick.
