Northampton 2-1 Luton

Poul Hubertz and Alex Dyer got the goals as Northampton secured their first victory in four games.

Hubertz was needlessly pulled back by Sol Davis in the box and picked himself up to slam home the ensuing spot-kick.

Dyer, 17, headed Northampton further in front from a Daniel Jones cross in, but Luton wasted a host of chances as they strived to get back into the match.

Calvin Andrew and Darren Currie both went close before Sam Parkin grabbed a late consolation from close range.
