Luton were left frustrated after being held to a draw by high-flying Carlisle at Kenilworth Road.
The home side created plenty of chances and David Bell hit the underside of the crossbar from two yards early on.
Darren Currie was then guilty of an equally glaring miss when he allowed David Raven to block his six-yard effort on the line.
Luton dominated but were almost caught out late on as Danny Graham drove past the post.
