Oldham boosted their play-off chances - and dented Doncaster's - with a comfortable win at Boundary Park.
Chris Taylor grabbed two late goals for John Sheridan's side
On-loan Sheffield Wednesday striker Leon Clarke burst past two defenders to slide in the first after eight minutes.
Rovers keeper Neil Sullivan then denied Clarke and Paul Warne, before Craig Rocastle made it 2-0 when Rovers failed to clear their lines from a throw-in.
Chris Taylor grabbed two late goals, heading in Andy Liddell's cross and then tapping in a Warne centre late on.
