Managerless Huddersfield deepened Bradford's relegation worries as they won the Yorkshire derby.
Paul Hayes gave the hosts the lead in just the third minute, heading in Andy Taylor's right-wing centre.
Bradford had chances to level, but Steven Schumacher blazed over and Moses Ashikodi and Billy Paynter both forced saves from keeper Matthew Glennon.
But Danny Schofield wrapped up the points with a well-taken lob from inside the box after Hayes' pass.
