Swansea 2-0 Brentford
Swansea striker Adebayo Akinfenwa celebrates the opening goal
Akinfenwa was in the team because of Lee Trundle's suspension
Adebayo Akinfenwa's first-half goal and Karleigh Osborne's own goal saw Swansea ease to victory over bottom side Brentford at the Liberty Stadium.

With the Bees' defence rooted to the spot and expecting an offside flag, Akinfenwa got onto a Dennis Lawrence through ball to lob over Nathan Abbey.

Wide-man Andy Robinson's run and cross was then deflected in by Osborne.

The Swans eased back after the break, but Brentford lacked the quality to make an impression on the deficit.
