Doncaster missed out on a League One play-off place despite claiming victory at Tranmere.

Lewis Guy gave the visitors a 12th-minute lead with superb strike from an acute angle.

Tranmere keeper Steve Wilson gave the ball to Guy as he tried to feed Carl Tremarco and he crossed for Neil Roberts to head home the second.

Guy then fired wide when he had a good chance after Tranmere's Delroy Facey had shaved the outside of the post.
