Sheffield Wednesday go into the play-offs on the back of a defeat after going down against Bristol City.

Steve Brooker put the visitors 2-0 up before the break, first capitalising on a defensive mix-up and then scoring with a rasping drive.

But the Owls fought back, John-Paul McGovern tapping in from close-range before Richard Wood headed a leveller.

But Wednesday keeper Paul Gallacher was sent off for hauling down Brooker and Luke Wilkshire bagged from the spot.
