James Quinn's last-minute winner secured a play-off place for Sheffield Wednesday at already-promoted Hull.

The Owls took the lead through Drew Talbot but only good saves from Paul Gallacher kept out Kevin Ellison and Stuart Elliott at the other end.

Hull did equalise when Elliott converted from the spot after Lee Bullen handled in the box.

Gallacher saved well again from Barmby and Craig Fagan before Quinn had the last word to give the Owls victory.

Hull: Myhill, Stockdale (Joseph 45), Cort, Delaney, Edge, Barmby (Burgess 72), Ashbee, Lewis (Hessenthaler 45), Ellison, Elliott, Fagan.
