Huddersfield 1-0 Blackpool
Luke Beckett scored his sixth goal in six games to seal an action-packed Roses derby win for injury-ravaged Huddersfield against Blackpool.

On two minutes, Beckett curled in a low shot after Chris Brandon's back-heel.

Brandon was sent off in the second half following his professional foul on Keith Southern.

John McAliskey should have sealed it with a second-half penalty after he was fouled by Peter Clarke, but he scuffed it and Brad Jones saved easily.

Huddersfield: Rachubka, Mirfin, Nathan Clarke, Tom Clarke, McCombe, Brandon, Ahmed, Worthington, Collins, Beckett (Akpo Sodje 87), McAliskey (Lloyd 75).
Subs Not Used: Senior, Efetobore Sodje, Brown.
