Colchester 5-0 Walsall
Two first-half goals from Craig Fagan helped Colchester thrash Walsall and take 15th place in League One ahead of their hapless opponents.

His opener was a penalty after Neil Danns was brought down by Mark Kinsella and five minutes later he made it two, volleying in Greg Halford's cross.

Gavin Johnson and Gareth Williams also scored to finish the game as a contest before half-time.

Walsall stemmed the flow in the second half until Stephen Hunt's late header.

Colchester: Davison, Stockley, Baldwin, Brown, Hunt, Halford, Danns, Watson (Keith 85), Johnson (Chilvers 72), Fagan, Williams (Ndumbu-Nsungu 79).
Subs Not Used: Cade, Gerken.
