Owen Morrison got the winner as Bradford edged the West Yorkshire derby against promotion rivals Huddersfield.
Morrison pounced three minutes before half-time, turning inside Nathan Clarke before unleashing a right-foot shot after being set-up by Nicky Summerbee.
Huddersfield went close through a Chris Brandon shot and a Pawel Abbott header which both hit the post.
Bradford defender Mark Bower's header skimmed the crossbar and Dean Windass also hit the post from a free-kick.
