Walsall are aiming to keep on-loan West Brom goalkeeper Joe Murphy at the Bescot Stadium for the rest of the current campaign.
Murphy, 23, joined the Saddlers in October and has since started 11 games for the midlands side.
Walsall boss Paul Merson told the club's website. "Joe is a very good keeper and it will be a major bonus to us if we can keep him here.
"I have had talks with Bryan Robson and hopefully we can sort out a deal."
