Huddersfield's top scorer Pawel Abbott rescued a point against Brentford.

The Terriers dominated the early exchanges with Junior Mendes missing a chance after Stuart Nelson had parried Town skipper Jon Worthington's drive.

Abbott hit the bar after a superb piece of skill before Brentford's Deon Burton had an effort ruled out for offside.

Sam Sodje put the Bees ahead, bundling home John Salako's corner, but Abbott resuced a point by slamming Danny Schofield's centre in off the bar.
