Bournemouth 4-0 Port Vale
In-form Bournemouth extended their unbeaten run to five league matches with a emphatic win against Port Vale.

John Spicer scored a close-range effort early on before Brian Stock doubled the lead with a controversial goal.

He fired in a shot from 30 yards which keeper Jonny Brain fumbled and the referee judged the ball to have crossed the line.

Stock added his second on the stroke of half-time with a 20-yard volley and Warren Cummings completed the rout.

Bournemouth: Neil Moss, Young, Cummings, Howe (Maher 81), Broadhurst, O'Connor, Stock, Spicer, Elliott, Hayter, Rodrigues (Fletcher 24 (Holmes 72)).
