Doncaster emerged victorious from their Yorkshire derby with Huddersfield thanks to goals from midfielder Paul Green and striker Leo Fortune-West.
The scoreline was kind to Huddersfield who found themselves outclassed for much of the match, but pulled a goal back through Jon Worthington.
Fortune-West fired Rovers in front with a left-foot shot on the turn.
Green doubled the lead when he tucked home his own rebound before James Coppinger hit the post on 77 minutes.
