Relegated Northampton ended a run of six consecutive defeats by coming back from two goals down to earn a draw at home to Plymouth.
Goals in either half from David Norris and Ian Stonebridge looked to have put the Pilgrims on their way to a comfortable victory.
The Cobblers could have fallen further behind if David Friio had not wasted a decent chance and if skipper Paul Wotton had been a fraction closer with two well-struck free-kicks.
But Northampton reduced their arrears when Darryn Stamp volleyed home.
And Steve Morrison equalised six minutes later after goalkeeper Romain Larrieu had blocked Marco Gabbiadini's shot.
Veteran striker Gabbiadini almost netted a stoppage-time winner but his effort went just the wrong side of the post.
