Wadsworth seeks consistency
Huddersfield boss Mick Wadsworth has blamed his defence for their failure to hold on for the win against relegation rivals Cheltenham.
Town were held to a 3-3 draw at the McAlpine and remain in the relegation zone at the foot of Division Three.
The Terriers led 3-2 with 20 minutes to go, but a Grant McCann goal denied them the three points that would have seen them move up to fourth bottom.
They had recovered from a two-goal deficit at half-time to take a 3-2 lead after three goals in five sensational second period minutes. And Wadsworth is concerned about the Jekyll and Hyde nature of his side. He said: "We attacked like Real Madrid at times, and defended like the Dog and Duck. "To lose the first-half 2-0 and win the second 3-1 was an excellent turnaround. "If anything it showed that we have got spirit, guts and effort. But the players were warned about complacency, and the warning wasn't heeded."
