Division Two strugglers Mansfield claimed three crucial points with a stunning demolition of Steve McMahon's Blackpool.

Striker Iyseden Christie opened the scoring in the ninth minute with his 14th goal of the season, leaping above goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos to head the ball into the net.

Blackpool's hopes were effectively ended eight minutes after the break when Chris Clarke was sent off for his second foul on Christie in less than a minute.

Liam Lawrence doubled Mansfield's lead three minutes later.

Substitute Colin Larkin improved the scoreline within minutes of coming off the bench, finding the net with a powerful strike into the top corner in the 74th minute.

And moments later he poked the ball past Theoklitos as Blackpool's defenders struggled to cope, completing an impressive win.
