Wigan extended their unbeaten run to 13 games with a draw against a stubborn QPR side at the JJB Stadium.

A first-half goal from Andy Liddell appeared to have put the home side firmly in the driving seat, especially as they squandered chance after chance.

But just before half-time, a corner was half-cleared to Richard Langley, whose cross back in was touched home by Karl Connolly for the equaliser.

Wigan continued to press after the break but were thwarted by stubborn defending and poor finishing.

And at the end they had goalkeeper John Filan to thank for keeping the scoreline level when he tipped over a fierce free-kick from Tom Williams.
