QPR 1-2 Oldham

Oldham maintained their unbeaten away record this season by coming from behind to beat QPR.

Josh Low and Lee Duxbury scored for the visitors, who defended stoutly in the closing stages to claim the points.

The hosts, unbeaten at home in 21 league games at the start of play, made the perfect start when they opened the scoring with the first attack of the match.

Matthew Rose was the man who got the goal when he volleyed the ball home from six yards following Andy Thomson's cross from the left.

Oldham soon got themselves back on level terms.

Low scored his first goal for the club when his right-foot shot from close range found the bottom left-hand corner of the net.

Jerome Thomas, on loan at QPR from Arsenal, curled a right-foot shot wide from 25 yards but shortly afterwards the visitors took the lead through Duxbury.

He headed the ball home from six yards following David Eyres' inviting cross from the left.

Karl Connolly headed the ball wide as Ian Holloway's side searched for an equaliser before the hosts made a change with Shittu replaced by Dennis Oli.

Rose tested Oldham goalkeeper Les Pogliacomi with a header following Richard Langley's corner before Wayne Andrews was replaced by Chris Killen for the visitors.

QPR had to make a goalkeeping change when injured Simon Royce, on loan from Leicester, was replaced by Fraser Digby.

Thomson's late volley, which went over the crossbar, was their final chance to salvage a point.
