Northampton did more than enough to earn their third victory of the season but were held by Huddersfield at Sixfields.

Paul McGregor missed Northampton's best chance early in the second half.

With just Scott Bevan to beat, the midfielder was twice denied by the Huddersfield keeper.

Marco Gabbiadini also went close with a header and volley late on as Northampton sought to break the stalemate.

Earlier, Armand One caused Huddersfield problems on his league debut.

The experienced Kevin Gallacher had two first-half chances for the visitors and his second, a close-range header, went just past the post.
