Luke Beckett scored his fourth goal of the season to earn Stockport their third win of the new campaign at Swindon.

Beckett struck from close range in the 56th minute after Ben Burgess had a shot blocked near the line by Alan Reeves.

But Stockport's real hero was goalkeeper Lee Jones, who made a succession of outstanding saves.

He reserved his best for the 53rd minute, first blocking a close-range shot from leading scorer Sam Parkin and then somehow got to the rebound from Andy Gurney.

Jones also made top-class saves from Gurney, Eric Sabin, Jimmy Davis and Stefani Miglioranzi, but Carlton Palmer's men hung on to win.
